What is your full name and title at Hero?
Jazmin Allen-Collins, Business Analyst
Please provide a brief summary of your role at Hero, and why you enjoy your role.
As a business analyst, I support different disciplines and clients with gathering requirements and information to help them design the most effective solution for the client’s need(s)—in a nutshell. I really love my role because it allows me to think critically and creatively, help build solutions to solve problems, and touch on so many different areas of the business. It’s a role that allows you to support through leadership and discovery which I think is so cool.
What is one goal you feel you have achieved at Hero?
I feel that being at Hero has helped me truly run. I’ve always been passionate about what I do and wanting to be a change agent, but my past roles have often been restricted because people weren’t ready for change or out of the box ideas, so I’ve had to walk or crawl even when I was ready to run.
At Hero, I get the space to run and try new things and expand upon my craft to support our clients because our culture and the mindset of our clients are aligned—everyone is interested in trying something new and adapting along the way.
What is your favorite color?
Green!
Name something you would like to share that most people may not know about you?
I love to travel. I only get to travel about once per year these days, but I hope to be able to travel a lot more as my kids get older. So far, I’ve been to 14 countries on 4 continents. I hope to hit 6 continents before 40 and all seven before I die.
