The Communicator Awards, presented by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, is an international program that recognizes big ideas in marketing and communications. This year Hero Digital won an Award of Distinction from an entry pool of over 6,000 submissions for work creating an improved website experience for Western Digital.
With 1.66 billion digital buyers worldwide and 64% of online shoppers reporting simple site navigation as an influence on their purchases, Western Digital knew that its disjointed eCommerce experience was a disadvantage for business. To fix this problem, our team of strategy, design, engineering and data leaders crafted a strategic Adobe Experience Manager-fueled online store to streamline the customer experience. The results were phenomenal: a 400% increase in conversions and 22% overall growth in revenue. You can read more about the Western Digital website redesign here.
I’m truly honored to have our projects’ success recognized at a national level, and I am extremely proud of each Hero team member who worked on the Western Digital project. Their dedicated efforts paid off and have set the standard for beautiful, thoughtful, and strategic customer experiences in both the technology industry.
