Overview

We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Hero Digital Delivery Management team. Do you love working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment? Are you passionate about business and technology? If so, we would love to meet you!

What you’ll do

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Gather business requirements from diverse stakeholder groups and prioritize their importance.
  • Build Product Backlogs from requirements gathering activities
  • Work with other disciplines to size and scope features in the Product Backlog.
  • Conduct Product Backlog grooming sessions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work in tandem with Project Management to manage project scope, and work closely with team leads to plan, size and manage sprints.
  • Document business requirements via user stories and process flows, in addition to functional requirements that include writing wireframe/comp annotations, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Work in collaboration with Engineering teams to hand off specifications.
  • Review completed development to ensure it has been built to specification.
  • Train end users on systems such as CMS, DAM and campaign management tools.

Who you are

  • You have a 4-year college degree
  • You have between 6+ years experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst or Product Owner for digital product, mobile application, and/or website development
  • You've got at least 3 years experience in an agency or consulting/professional services setting
  • Experience as SME on complex, digital projects that include the full spectrum of Hero offerings (Design, Technology, Analytics, Strategy, etc.)
  • Experience writing business and functional requirements
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Expertise with Confluence and Jira
  • Experience with CMS platform implementations (AEM, Sitecore, Drupal, Episerver, etc.), and experience training users on the platform
  • Experience facilitating partner workshops to gather and prioritize requirements
  • Ability to take complex issues and present them in a simple and easy to follow manner
  • Ability to work towards decisions and results
  • Strong understanding of the digital project lifecycle and the role of the various team members
  • Deep organizational and planning skills and strong communication skills, both written and verbal
